Water Ski or Wakeboard?

Water Skiing is similar to snow skiing, learn with our latest teaching techniques and equipment. Beginners learn on two skis then progress onto one ski experiencing the thrill of more speed and faster turns.

Wakeboarding is an exciting board sport popular with snow boarders with a fast learning curve made easy with the latest teaching techniques and equipment. Not enough wind to windsurf, too much to kite board, waves too small to surf, too old to skate board, not a problem, wakeboard every day on our sheltered lakes at JB Ski.

Learn on the Boat or Cable?

For the personal touch, book the Boat beginners course, this is popular with kids, families, women and anyone wanting that bit extra.

Our Boat beginners course offers one to one instruction. Start by watching our instructional DVD, then out on to the water for 3 x 15 minute lessons. We use a boom system and even offer a money back guarantee if we cannot get you up and going. Your sessions will normally be spread over 3 hours to allow you time to rest in between and ride in the boat and watch others. All equipment is provided.

• 15 minute lesson - £24 (beginners must book a beginners course)
• Adult beginners course, 3x15 minute lessons - £65.00
• Kids beginners course, 2x15 minute lessons - £45.00
• Families, one adult, two kids, 2x15minute lessons pp - £130.00

The Cable Tow offers a really cost effective way to get on the water, this is great way to start, get on the water with a group of friends, mix with and learn with others. Our 2 hour beginner's ski school has introduced thousands of new skiers and riders to our sport.

• Cable beginner course, 2 hours - £35.00
• Cable beginner course, 4 hours - £45.00 (2x2 hour sessions)

Start by watching our instructional DVD and completing our registration. Change in to your wet suit and life jacket, then your instructor will show you the basics of how to start on our special training system that allows you to get the hang of the basics in a controlled environment near to the shore. Once you have mastered these you will be out on to the main cable to continue your progression.

We run beginner ski schools on the hour every hour from when we open up to 2 hours before we close (see the calendar and opening times). You can book places on the ski school sessions to ensure you will not be disappointed. All equipment is provided.
