Kieran had his first taste of wakeboarding in May 2009, with a boat set. He was desperate to go back and so in June 2009 he started kids club at JBSki, progressing from a kneeboard to a wakeboard in the July. Since then it has been impossible to keep him away from the water, even through winter. This year Kieran is hoping to compete in a few competitions, and is dreaming of starting to learn inverts. When not on the water Kieran is often found reading wakeboarding magazines, practicing on his trampoline or talking about wakeboarding. His teacher is used to any literacy task turning into a story on wakeboarding no matter what the original question was!
